Brand Marketing Manager

Hips & Curves is an award-winning intimate apparel company dedicated to curvy women and promoting positive body image. The Brand Marketing Manager will be responsible for development and execution of branding strategies and marketing initiatives promoting both short-term and long-term growth while ensuring brand consistency and growth across all channels.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter and an innovator who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment; someone who enjoys collaborating and gets satisfaction from seeing how their contributions make an impact. This is a hands-on position working closely with the CEO and Creative Director. Must have a solid understanding of marketing metrics and analytics but not be driven by numbers alone.  We are looking for someone who connects to the heart and emotions of the customer and understands that metrics are important but customers are more than data points.

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, manage and drive all aspects of marketing strategies to maximize the brand identity and reach more women with heartfelt, positive, impactful messaging.
  • Partner with Merchandising, Design, E-commerce, SEO, SEM and Social teams to develop targeted and consistent brand messaging.
  • Oversee promotional calendar, campaigns and key launch dates.
  • Develop brand identity manual incorporating company culture, values, brand voice, brand look and feel.
  • Review and interpret data across all channels and make recommendations for actionable items.
  • Write, edit and oversee creative content.
  • Supervise Merchandising and Marketing Coordinator.

Skills/Experience:

  • BA in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • 5+  years ecommerce branding/marketing experience
  • You’re an effective communicator and strong writer with experience in PR
  • You’re excited by quick shifts and agile enough to pounce on new opportunities
  • You can speak in the brand voice directly to the customer’s needs.
