Danisha was only the only one wearing an aqua gown in a sea of little black dresses. She’d been to enough charity events to know that she liked to stand out in a crowd. The pale silk glowed against her dark skin, and he had definitely noticed her. She’d caught him staring at her the whole night. The dessert plates were cleared, the MC had just finished his speech and the guest of honor was getting ready to leave. Danisha was wasn’t about to let the new football star in town leave without a proper greeting.
Heads were turning as she walked across the room in her slingback stilletos. She brushed a hand across her hip. Gotta love that Hips and Curves lace body briefer for smoothing everything out. And it was pretty enough that if her dress just happened to come off that night, any guy’s heart would race.
Running her own PR firm for years, she knew charity events were great places to make business contacts. But that’s not the kind of contact she was hoping to make tonight. She wasn’t sure what to expect, though. Kevin Stiller didn’t have a party boy reputation like many of his NFL teammates, but he certainly was the hottest guy she had seen in a long time.
>>>She held his gaze and smiled as she walked up to him. He was six foot five, with skin like chocolate and beautiful amber eyes. One side of his mouth curled as she came toward him. His eyes swept up and down her curvy shape. She slowed down and held her head a bit higher so he could enjoy the view. Queen was definitely the most appropriate label for her clothes, and not just because she was stacked.
"Hello Kevin, I’m Danisha Williams, of DW Public Relations. I wanted to welcome you to town." She held out her hand and he squeezed it tight, not letting go.
"So, you’re the one who was distracting me all night." His voice was deep and smooth.
She raised an eyebrow and shrugged. "Tell me, how do you like playing fullback?"
His mouth split into a huge grin, and his white teeth sparkled as he laughed. "Oh, I like playing fullback, and not just on the field." He took her hand and twirled her around. "Girl, you got it going on."
"You think so?” she said coyly as she stepped back and lifted her floor length gown to give him a peek of the fishnet stockings she was wearing.
"Woman, what have you got on under that?" His smile was gone and his eyes were big.
She gave him a sly smile and simply said, "You might be surprised."
He took her by the arm. "My limo is waiting outside. Why don’t you show me the town, Miss Williams. I am new here, after all."
"I didn’t think you were much of a player–off the field. I thought you were kinda shy." She looked up at him, standing outside the limo. It was a hot summer night and the goose bumps rising on her arms definitely were not from the warm breeze.
He leaned down and brushed her lips with a slow, soft kiss. "I’m not shy Miss Williams, I’m particular. It’s not often I have such a fine specimen of a woman coming my way. Usually it’s skinny chicks throwing themselves at me, thinking they’re all that." He dismissed the idea off with a wave of his strong hand, sporting a huge diamond ring. "I don’t want to worry about hurting some poor little thing when I’m, well, enjoying myself."
"I bet you like to enjoy yourself." Danisha gave him a sly smile.
"With the right kind of lady. I’m glad someone big and beautiful like yourself has the confidence to come on up and say, hey."
"Oh, I’ve got confidence Mr. Stiller." She ran a finger down his tie. "You’re not the only one who likes to score."
He laughed. "Fullbacks don’t usually score."
"They do tonight."
He caught his breath and helped her into the limo.
Danisha smiled as she felt his hand moving down along the slope of her hip. She may be good at public relations, but she was even better at the personal kind.
